Lions of District 29-L remember those whose flames were burning brightly
a year ago. They were our husbands; they were our wives; and they were
our fellow Lions. These Lions made the candle of service burn brighter
in a world darkened by the needs of our fellow man.Our hearts are saddened by the loss of these Lions, but we are grateful to each of them for sharing their great compassion and energy with us. Each one had a concern and compassion for their community and for their fellow man.
Today the Lions of District 29-L remember those Lions whose flame lit the pathway in the world of service for us to follow. The memory of the light cast by their candles will never be forgotten by those of us who served with these faithful Lions for many years.
