LCI is asking for input from individual Lions
worldwide by taking a survey. It is my hope that each Lion will
take the time to do the survey. When taking the survey you will
get a sense of how International is our membership.
Do you remember the coke commercial many years ago about
teaching harmony to the world through song? We Lions are
teaching the world about coming together in a peaceful, loving,
caring way by helping those in need. We Serve and Believe. We are Lions. We Believe as
We Serve.
Lion Jamesie Beecroft District PR Chairperson

Thank you, Lions, for submitting Peace
Posters to be judged. They were all wonderful. The judge is an
artist who is not a Lion. She was very impressed with all the
posters and the quotes from the young artists. Children do know
peace! I will be returning all posters, except the winner,
within the next two weeks. Lion Julia Cooper, Harrisville Lions,
did an excellent job in following all the rules and sending the
poster chosen as the winner. Please in January begin
preparations for 2012 Peace Poster Contest. Do not wait until
next September to go to the schools with the kits, set calendar
guidelines. February send for the kits, acquaint yourselves with
ALL the rules. March take the kits to the schools and explain
the criteria to the art teachers. Everyone will be less stressed
in September/October.
